Holy Cow Controversy

Politics in India is a serious business. Shashi Tharoor seems to represent a politician who we usually see in developed countries. We are a nation with ZERO sense of humor. When asked would you like to travel to Thiruvananthapuram in Cattle Class? His lighthearted reply that YES, he would travel in the Cattle Class with all the Holy Cows (Other Congress Politicians) in it. It didn't go too well with other politicians who act as Hypocrites at most times. Why the holy cows are feeling ashamed about themselves?

Tharoor's remarks on Twitter, seems more on the funnier side which should not be given more air than what it has already got. There are more serious issues to talk about and resolve than this one. Sadly, in India, Politicians are all about serious stuff. They are expected to talk about upliftment of poor and downtrodden. Anyone who deviates from this ideology is in serious trouble.

I believe its time, we stop reacting to these small small issues and work towards social causes which need more attention.
